Zoo Music - Holy Roller - Featuring Running Wild

This summer, the BioPark Concerts are getting wild. Introducing a newly revamped Zoo Music series! In addition to a touring band on the Bandshell, each evening features a unique theme, bringing different habitats to life with live local music, up-close keeper chats, and interactive discovery stations. It’s not just a concert, it’s a Zoo experience like never before.
Zoo Music gets thrilling with country, Americana, and Southern rock from Holy Roller. This Richmond, Virginia based group has been dominating the east coast and will be grooving the Bandshell Stage at 7 pm. Their powerful, riff-driven sound sets the stage for an exciting summer night.

Route 66 Summerfest is the premier centennial festivity for Albuquerque! This year’s event will celebrate all the eras of Route 66 along the one-mile stretch in Nob Hill. This party will feature all of your favorites with four stages of live music featuring music through the decades, local food vendors offering themed menus, artisans creating custom Mother Road gifts, free activities for the kids, 100 show cars for 100 years, and all the flare Nob Hill has to offer. After an evening of fun, head to the Main Stage to dance the night away on Central Ave. to The Docksiders – Yacht Rock Experience, presented by Legends Theater at Route 66 Casino Hotel. It will be a celebration for the ages you won’t want to miss!

In addition to a touring band on the Bandshell, each evening features a unique theme, bringing different habitats to life with live local music, up-close keeper chats, and interactive discovery stations. It’s not just a concert, it’s a Zoo experience like never before.
The final Zoo Music of the summer will be sure to entertain with a performance by Taimane, a hapa Sāmoan artist (part indigenous Sāmoan and part Caucasian) born and raised in Hawai‘i. She has established herself as an artist-to-watch as a virtuoso and songwriter best known for her fierce and inventive style of playing the ukulele. From Bach to Led Zeppelin, flamenco infernos to tribal hymns, Taimane’s artistic vision is boundless. She will rock her ukulele at 7 pm.
Slither into adventure as this evening’s featured area is the Reptile Building!

Celebrate the spirit of Albuquerque’s iconic 18-mile stretch of the Mother Road with a grand finale to this summer’s concert series! Albuquerque’s own Al Hurricane Jr. will light up the Festival Green Stage, bringing his legendary energy and getting everyone on their feet to dance in true Route 66 style.
The unmistakable sound of ranchera will fill the summer air as Al Hurricane Jr. takes the stage, delivering his signature blend of Latin, Western, rock, and jazz. Catch the music and let the celebration begin at 7 pm.

Join Douglas and Lotus Sound Bath at this free event on the first Monday of every month (holidays may affect schedule) offering a great way to experience sound healing for the first -or 100th+ time, and introduce others to the experience in a beautiful, serene and contemplative, and wonderfully acoustic surrounding. It's free so bring friends and family, take a break for yourself, step out of routine, unplug (to recharge), and join us at this meditative, relaxing, and uplifting gathering. Parking and entry on East side. Extra parking in adjoining lot to South -accessed from Lead Ave. Please arrive early, if possible. Registration optional, there are no tickets. Do bring a mat or comforter, pillow, etc. per your comfort if you want to lie down. There is also always plenty of seating. Please avoid strong fragrances, and kindly NO recording during session.
