KANW Radio Broadcasting Class (General Information)

KANW's Radio Broadcasting Class is offered twice per year, generally in January and August. The introductory course covers commercial and noncommercial radio broadcasting, FCC rules and regulations, programming formats, transmission systems, HD Radio, voice technique practices, and much more. Students train on KANW’s broadcast equipment. The adult education class is open to the general public and to APS high school students. Attendees range from aspiring broadcasters in high school and college to curious retirees wanting to learn about radio.
