The public is invited to Albuquerque Empty Bowls at St. John’s United Methodist Church at 2626 Arizona St. NE in Albuquerque on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Handmade bowls by Albuquerque potters and food donated by area restaurants and food establishments will be provided. At last year’s event we doubled our goal, thanks to 150 potters and great sponsor restaurants and a great venue. Help us celebrate our second year back, supporting Storehouse New Mexico --a nonprofit community-based food pantry that provides free groceries to people in need—who will benefit from all bowl sales.
Tickets are for sale at Storehouse ticket website https://www.classy.org/event/storehouse-empty-bowls-2024/e569558
$35 includes bowl, soup, bread, dessert, drink for people 12 years and older. Children under 12 pay $5 for soup (no bowl). An additional donation is welcome and appreciated. More info at https://www.nmpotters.org/Albuquerque-Empty-Bowls
